Reebok was originally founded by J.W Foster for "athletes that wanted to run faster". The first known running shoes were made with spikes in them to go faster.
By 1958, two of Foster's grandsons have created the name Reebok – which means "African Gazelle – Indicating lightness and speed.
In 1982, Reebok introduced the first athletic shoes for women, it was called the "free style" and it was mainly for Aerobic dancers.
Nowadays, Reebok has expanded to having almost 12 stores all over Egypt.
